Johanna Steger

Center Line MI's Best Hair Coloring - Edwin Paul Salon - johannaJohanna joined the Edwin Paul team in 2016 after graduating from Warren Woods College of Cosmetology. She is currently working as an assistant in our extensive assistant program, gaining knowledge and understanding the principles of hair cutting and coloring.

She is certified in the Brazilian Blowout straightening treatment along with Hot Heads Tape-In Extensions. Johanna has been trained in Prive haircutting classes. She is advancing her product knowledge in Kerastase and Oribe. She is a very driven individual when it comes to expanding her education.

Johanna loves customizing creative looks towards her clientele with different balayaging and highlighting techniques. She also loves creating up-do's, hairstyling, bouncy blowouts and clean eyebrow arching.

Holly Carver

Center Line MI's Best Hair Coloring - Edwin Paul Salon - hollyHolly has been in the industry since 2009. She cuts, colors, and styles both men and women and lets her creative side take over with up-dos and color. Holly found her passion for hair through building and sculpting eye-catching, avant-garde pieces. She specializes in color placement with Pravana Vivids for bright, fun pops of color. Holly also loves the art of balayage highlighting, as well as other highlighting techniques that let her imagination create beautiful looks. She believes continuing education is very important as she attends America's Beauty Show in Chicago each year and attends product knowledge classes for Kerastase as well as classes for Pravana color.

Alisa Kanka

Center Line MI's Best Hair Coloring - Edwin Paul Salon - alisaAs a graduate of David Pressley Academy of Cosmetology in Royal Oak, one of Michigan's most prestigious and well known schools, Alisa completed the state's required 1500 hours of education and went on to acquire her license as an assistant at the Edwin Paul Salon.

She joined the staff of Edwin Paul in 2003 as front desk personnel and is fully experienced in the workings of salon coordination. Alisa prides herself on recognizing each client's personal preferences and she believes that catering to every client's individual needs is essential to a perfect salon visit. She continues to build on this quality by working side by side with Senior Stylists on a full time and daily basis.

Every year, Alisa attends the Maly's Symposium at the Renaissance Center where she has receives training from highly acclaimed professionals such as Redken, Vidal Sassoon and Rusk, and is exposed to the most recent techniques and products available to stylists as well as influenced by inspirational speakers such as Michael Cole and Jennifer Planck. She enjoyed a six-week Aveda course where she learned the benefits of scalp massage, an invigorating addition to an Edwin Paul visit.

Center Line MI's Best Hair Coloring - Edwin Paul Salon - kathyKathy has been a hairstylist/color expert from the very opening of the Edwin Paul Salon 21 years ago and has grown with the salon through the years.

She continually attends educational seminars which have included, to name a few: the Redken Academy in New York, Martin Parsons in Toronto, Michael Cole's Boot Camp, and Maly's yearly show in Grand Rapids. She welcomes new clients and hopes to see you soon!
