Josette Kikos

Center Line MI's Preferred Hair Highlights - Edwin Paul Salon - jjJosette has been in the industry and worked in the Grosse Pointe area for over 30 years, graduating from City Barber College in 1986. She had worked under that license for 17 years, mastering men's cutting techniques that include: men's clipper cuts, men's scissor over comb, men's beard trimming and shaping/fading, men's waxing and eyebrow groom, and men's hair coloring.

She then received her cosmetology license to continue mastering men's and woman's hair styling. She has received many certifications including Sassoon, L'Oreal New York, Redken Exchange, Maly's, Martin Parson's, Beth Minardi, Robert Cromeans, etc. She is certified in master coloring techniques such as color corrections, balayage, foilayage, Brazilian blow outs, hair painting, and color melting. Some of Josette's women services include haircutting, coloring, blow dry, highlights, eyebrow arching, etc.

Amy Viazanko

Center Line MI's Preferred Hair Highlights - Edwin Paul Salon - Amy_ViazankoAmy has been a hair stylist at Edwin Paul Salon since 1999. She completed an extensive two-year salon apprenticeship rather than going to cosmetology school. During this training program, she attended many outside-of-salon cosmetology classes and shows. Among these was the Vidal Sassoon hands-on cutting and styling class which trains the stylist in balance and precision haircutting. After completing this program, Amy acquired her own chair at the Edwin Paul Salon. She has had the opportunity to be behind the scenes doing hair at fashion shows, attend color formulation and technique classes, and also several cutting and styling classes.

Her list of education beyond a cosmetology license is as follows: Martin Parsens Bridal and Styling class; Vidal Sassoon Classic Cutting and Creative Cutting (attended twice); Michael Cole Training, Paul Mitchell Cut and Color training (with Robert Cromeans); Redken Color & Cutting Training; Schwarzkopf Color training classes; Profound Cutting classes in Chicago; She attends Maly's show annually for spring/fall Cut & Color Launch, and Kerestase product knowledge courses.

Lauren Fouts

Center Line MI's Preferred Hair Highlights - Edwin Paul Salon - laurenLauren, a graduate from Paul Mitchell the School, has been an employee at Edwin Paul since 2009, although she has been part of the hair industry since 2007. She starting out working as a receptionist and then progressed forward to Edwin's assistant program. Having spent time in New York, she has had extensive training in color and cutting with top educators.

She is also highly educated in product knowledge of Pravana, Schwartzkopf, Kerastase, Oribe, Redken, Joico, Kenra and many more. Lauren is not just interested in giving an exceptional hair experience, but also thrives on keeping herself educated.

Center Line MI's Preferred Hair Highlights - Edwin Paul Salon - kathyKathy has been a hairstylist/color expert from the very opening of the Edwin Paul Salon 21 years ago and has grown with the salon through the years.

She continually attends educational seminars which have included, to name a few: the Redken Academy in New York, Martin Parsons in Toronto, Michael Cole's Boot Camp, and Maly's yearly show in Grand Rapids. She welcomes new clients and hopes to see you soon!
